Apptronik announced the opening/expansion of Robot Park in Austin, describing it as a flagship data-collection and training facility where Apollo 2 fleets continuously collect real-world data as part of its research partnership with Google DeepMind; the release also introduced Apollo 2 in both bipedal and wheeled-base configurations.

Apptronik announced executive hires including Daniel Chu as Chief Product Officer, plus additional senior leaders across services, software, marketing, and people operations, positioning the moves as part of scaling commercialization after the company’s $935M Series A round.

Apptronik announced the Series A-X extension and stated total Series A exceeded $935M; the company said the funding would support ramping up Apollo production and expanding its global network of deployments and training/data-collection facilities, and reiterated partnerships including Google DeepMind and named customer brands including Mercedes-Benz, GXO Logistics, and Jabil.

Apptronik reported an oversubscribed additional close of its Series A, adding $53M to the previously announced $350M round. It named participation from Google and additional investors including Mercedes-Benz and Japan Post Capital.

Apptronik announced closing a $350M Series A round co-led by B Capital and Capital Factory with participation from Google, and described the intent to scale production of Apollo and deploy to meet customer demand.

Apptronik unveiled Apollo and described it as a humanoid robot intended for friendly interaction, mass manufacturability, performance, and safety, including details about size/weight and payload/lifting capability alongside human-centered safety architecture positioning it for warehouse and supply chain environments.
