BlueDot Impact

What BlueDot Impact does

BlueDot Impact is a London- and San Francisco–based non-profit “talent accelerator” focused on strengthening the safety and biosecurity workforce. The organization runs free online AI safety and biosecurity courses, provides grantmaking to support career transitions and early projects, and convenes people through intensive in-person programs. BlueDot frames its mission around a growing “mismatch” between how quickly frontier AI and biology capabilities are advancing and how fast the safety-and-security workforce is developing, and it describes its operating approach as building pipelines that move people from first engagement to impactful roles and, in some cases, to creating or joining new organizations.
