What Intrinsic does
Intrinsic develops an enterprise platform for building and operating AI-enabled industrial robotics. Its core product, Intrinsic Flowstate, is an intuitive developer environment for designing robotic workcells (including digital-twin-style design/calibration), developing processes with skills/capabilities (including via behavior-tree-based graphical authoring and programming), and validating solutions via simulation before transferring to real hardware.
The platform is backed by IntrinsicOS and supporting cloud and control infrastructure intended to run solutions reliably in production while enabling remote monitoring and maintenance. Intrinsic positions the platform as “end-to-end” across development through commissioning and operations, with a unifying software stack intended to cover both virtual and real environments.
On the AI side, Intrinsic offers pretrained/ready-to-use capabilities such as perception (including the Intrinsic Vision Model, IVM) and other skills integrated into Flowstate, aiming to reduce the need for bespoke robotics/vision engineering for each new deployment scenario.
Strategically, Intrinsic is now part of Google as a distinct group within Google, and it continues evolving the Intrinsic platform while leveraging Gemini models and Cloud and working closely with Google DeepMind.
