PolyAI

What PolyAI does

PolyAI is an enterprise conversational voice-agent company that builds, runs, and governs dialogue agents for high-stakes customer service conversations. Its current product framing is the “Agentic Dialog Platform,” with Agent Studio positioned as the voice-first omnichannel platform where enterprises (and PolyAI’s teams) create and manage dialog agents that handle complex calls across languages, industries, and channels. PolyAI’s stated goal is to improve customer interaction quality and operational outcomes by deploying lifelike, context-aware voice agents that can execute real transactions (for example reservations, troubleshooting, and payments) while also supporting handoffs to human agents when needed. PolyAI also extends the “agent” concept beyond customer-facing automation via Agentic AI roles (e.g., QA, Analyst, and Builder Agents) intended to help contact center teams measure performance, extract insights, and continuously improve agents. Strategically, PolyAI has been investing in deeper enterprise integrations (e.g., Zendesk and Epic) and in new dialog-model capabilities designed for real-time voice handling and turn-taking.
