What Sana does
Sana (Sana Labs) is an enterprise AI company focused on helping organizations learn, find knowledge, and execute work using AI agents grounded in company-specific information. After building its platform as an independent company, Sana was acquired by Workday and is now integrated into the “Sana from Workday” offering. Workday positions Sana’s technology as the AI “front door” that connects enterprise data, security context, and workflows so employees can both get answers and take actions across systems. Sana’s product surface includes Sana Agents (agentic assistants and enterprise knowledge search), Sana Learn (learning and course creation/consumption), and supporting capabilities such as meeting capture/summarization and integrations that let assistants perform tasks in other apps. Sana also offers a self-serve “free” tier and an enterprise tier with tighter security controls (for example SSO/SCIM and enterprise-grade privacy) and broader administration/integration options.
